DEVALIA GYPSY SAFARI has introduced a range of new BSVI vehicles renowned for their comfort and cushioning. These vehicles fall into two distinct categories: A and B. Category B comprises older petrol vehicles that still fall within the permitted age limit. By default, online bookings are processed for Category B vehicles. However, if a Category B vehicle is unavailable, the booking will be automatically switched to Category A, incurring an additional fee for the upgraded vehicle.

History and Establishment

Devalia Safari Park is known as the Gir Interpretation Park. Gir National Park is the habitat of the Asiatic lions. In addition to lions, the forest is also famous for its other wildlife species and serenity. It is the home of 200 distinct species. Because of this, an enormous number of crowds travel here every year. Travellers don't get the permit for safari due to unavailability on the online booking platforms.

To reduce the tourist pressure and engage the crowd who don't get the permit, the Gujarat eco-tourism department carved a "Gir Interpretation Zone". It is also called Devalia Safari Park. It is segregated from Gir 412 hectares through chain-linked fences.

Devalia Safari Park is a small hub of rare animal species and some Asiatic lions. This interpretation zone is a cup of cake for wildlife enthusiasts. It showcases the beauty of leopards and other animals like sambar, blue bulls, wild boars, Indian golden jackal, deer, blackbuck, endangered and critically endangered vulture species, jungle cats and species of birds.

This park has 3 routes to ride safari. The administration of this park provides safari bus tours to visitors to take glimpses of wildlife while doing the tour. You encounter unique wilderness and the beauty of wildlife on the safari. To have an extraordinary experience, safari gypsy is available with a guide from the Sinh Sadan campus. It's a mesmerising and worthwhile experience.

● Limited entry permits are provided by the forest department to the visitors. Early ones will only benefit.

● Permit charges include guide charges that travellers have to pay at the time of booking.

● 6 (+1) is allowed in one E-permit.
